EM1860P wrist-worn high- and low-voltage proximity alarm provides workers performing live-line operations with a safe, practical, and convenient new high-voltage warning device. During live-line operations, the safety distance between the operator and live conductors must not be less than the requirements specified in relevant work procedures. When worn by workers, this alarm continuously monitors the electric field in all directions. Upon approaching a live high-voltage object within a certain distance—based on the safety distance corresponding to the voltage level—the alarm is triggered when the detected electric field exceeds the threshold. It then emits audible, visual, and vibrating alerts to remind electrical workers to exercise caution and prevent high-voltage electric shock accidents.
EM1860P wrist-worn live-line detection alarm uses a rechargeable lithium battery and features a 1.3-inch color LCD screen that displays the current date, time, and alarm voltage. It includes functions such as self-test, clock, mute mode, and adjustable alarm voltage settings. The alarm utilizes contactless, low-power technology, making it energy-efficient and durable, with a standby time of up to 30 days. Note: 1. The safe distance is based on "GB 26860-2011 Power Safety Work Regulations-Electrical Parts of Power Plant and Substation" and "GB 26859-2011 Power Safety Work Regulations-Power Line Part". In practical application, the alarm distance of the alarm has changed accordingly due to the influence of the environment.
2. Alarm distance error range: ±10 cm (400 V), ±20 cm (10 kV/110 kV/220 kV) (at 23°C ± 1°C and 80% RH under reference conditions). Reference conditions refer to standard laboratory conditions; in actual applications, the alarm distance error may vary depending on on-site humidity and environmental conditions.
